The Alert Level system is what the government is currently using to slow down the spread of COVID-19
On 29 November 2021, cabinet will confirm when NZ will move into the new traffic light system framework.
There are 3 parts/colours to the framework:
When we are at green:
With vaccine certs there will be no limits on how many people can be at SWET.
Without vaccine certs, 1m distancing between people is needed
When we are at orange:
With vaccine certs there will be no limits on how many people can be at SWET.
Without vaccine certs we cannot open our doors
When we are at red:
With vaccine certs, 1m distancing between people is needed
Without vaccine certs we cannot open our doors
As you can see from the framework above, SWET can only viably operate as a vaccine-mandated facility.
Therefore, from the date the framework goes live, SWET will require ALL members (contract and casual) and staff to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to entering our facility so that we can remain open at all framework levels.
The decision to become vaccinated or remain unvaccinated is a personal choice and one that we respect and appreciate differs for many. We thank you in advance for your understanding of how we are trying to keep everyone safe and keep SWET open.
